David MARCUS – Founder & Chairman
David is VOX telecom’s Founder and Chairman. Prior to founding VOX telecom, David founded Switzerland’s first alternative telecommunication carrier, GTN telecom in 1996. During his time as CEO of GTN, David raised over $17 million of institutional funding from tier-1 European Venture Capital firms and grew the company to become one of the top 3 voice carriers in Switzerland. David sold GTN telecom in 2000 to World Access (then listed on NASDAQ) and moved on to start Echovox, his new startup, in the same year. Echovox is the leading Mobile Media Enabler in Europe, it helps media companies “mobilize” content to over 1 billion mobile subscribers across over 50 mobile carriers throughout the world. David is still assuming the role of CEO at Echovox.


Claude SCHAERER – Founder & Chief Executive Officer
Claude is VOX telecom’s Founder and CEO where he oversees the day to day implementation of the company’s strategy. Prior to VOX, Claude started is long telecom carrier in Swisscom between 1984 to 1997 where he held various management positions. Claude then joined Sunrise (Switzerland’s 2nd largest carrier) where as Network Planning Manager he designed and rolled-out Switzerland’s 2nd largest fiber optic and voice network. Claude left Sunrise in 1998 and joined GTN telecom as Chief Technical Officer before moving on with David to start Echovox in 2000 where assumed the Chief Operating Officer role until taking the CEO role at VOX. Claude received an Electrical Engineering Degree from EIG.


Ollivier ANNEIX – Vice President Wholesale
Ollivier is VOX telecom’s VP Wholesale where he oversees the overall wholesale activities of the company. Prior to joining VOX, Ollivier was successively Special Transit Manager and Account Manager at France Telecom Long Distance where he started his telecom carrier in 1997. Ollivier then moved to Switzerland to join diAx (now Sunrise, the 2nd largest Swiss Carrier) where he was Carrier Services Account Manager. In 2001, Ollivier moved on to Colt Telecom where he was heading the Wholesale division in Switzerland.
